Jon's CFAS Auxilliary Web Site

This site contains a few pages which suppliment, compliment, or are related to the Cape Fear Astronomical Society's web page. It is not a mirror of, replacement for, or sanctioned by CFAS. That said, i believe it will be useful to CFAS members and members of the public.

What's here?

So far, just a few things:

• The CFAS Observing Sessions Calendar (2014).
• What Did I See?, a guide to some of the objects we show at public viewing sessions. It contains most of the "Tourist Traps", the bright easy-to-find objects which hold up well to moderately light polluted skies.
• A quick guide to Buying Telescopes.
• The slides to a presentation about observing meteor showers which i gave in August 2013.

That's it for now. More stuff will be coming as i think of it.
